Toast Coffeehouse is officially going to start making breakfast next door to Patchogue-Medford Library at their new 46 E. Main St. location Thursday morning at 8 a.m.
The long-awaited restaurant, which has been serving up the first meal of the day in Port Jefferson since 2002, announced the opening Wednesday evening to customers signed up for their email newsletter.
“We thank you for your patience and enthusiasm, and for making us feel so welcome in the wonderful community of Patchogue,” Toast writes in the email. They further told customers to expect a “Grand Opening” type of event in the future that would include specials and giveaways.
Toast has been teasing the Patchogue location on social media Wednesday, including posting photos of the new menu and mugs onto their Facebook and Twitter accounts. The opening comes nearly a year after the first signs began to pop up on the building that the eatery would be on its way.
