Museum Pass FAQ
Who can reserve a museum pass?
Each Patchogue-Medford Library cardholder 18 years of age and older in good standing may check out a museum pass. One pass per library card may be checked out at a time.
How do I reserve a museum pass?
Select the date of your intended visit. Then select the museum you want to attend. Make your own registration, or you can call us at (631) 654-4700 ext. 220. Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance.
Where do I pick up my Museum Pass?
Reserved passes can be picked-up after 4 p.m. at the Reference Desk the day prior to use.
How long may I keep the museum pass?
Passes should be returned the day after your visit before 2:00. Items can be returned at the Reference Desk or in the drop box outside the library.
What If I return the museum pass late?
If you cannot honor your reservation, please contact the library to cancel. A $25 fee will be charged to your library card if the pass is returned late. Failure to cancel within 36 hours will be considered a “no-show.” Two “no-shows” within 60 days will result in a block from placing future reservations.
What if I lose the museum pass?
A replacement fee for the cost of the pass will be charged to your Library card.
How many people does each pass admit?
Each participating museum sets its own limits regarding admittance with the pass. Please check the museum listing or contact the Library at (631) 654-4700 ext. 220 for more information.
How do I cancel my reservation?

We have a limited number of passes. If a pass is returned late or is lost, we may not be able to honor future reservations.
