PATCHOGUE-MEDFORD LIBRARY GENEALOGY RESEARCH GROUP

 

Mission Statement:

 The Patchogue-Medford Library Genealogy Research Group is dedicated to supporting the informational needs of all genealogy researchers.  Members are encouraged to share and learn new research techniques. 

 Resources:

 The Patchogue-Medford Library has an extensive monograph, microfilm and electronics collection and will continue to develop these areas.  Librarians are happy to assist all patrons with their research.

 Meetings:

 The Patchogue-Medford Library Genealogy Research Group holds monthly meetings, sometimes featuring guest speakers. Help sessions are available for those who are beginning to trace their family lineage.  Meeting attendees are encouraged to use the Patchogue-Medford Library electronic, microfilm and monograph resources. 

 Meeting Schedule:

 Meetings are held on the 4th Saturday of each month from 10 – 11:30 a.m.  A beginners session is held from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.  Meetings are open to the public and free of charge.  Location:  Patchogue-Medford Library, 54-60 E. Main Street, Patchogue, New York 11772.
