Downloadable Materials
You can download ebooks, audiobooks, music and movies through the Library. We offer two downloadable services: Suffolk Wave, featuring audiobooks, ebooks, music and movies, and e-Audiobooks through Recorded Books.
These materials can be checked out, downloaded onto your home computer and used there, or they can be transferred to a portable device. Some materials can be burned to cd and kept.
Suffolk Wave lets you download eAudiobooks in WMA and MP3 formats, music, movies and ebooks in adobe and mobipocket formats.
Downloadable eAudiobooks are available in MP3 and WMA formats.
If you’d like to try downloadable books or music on a portable device, but don’t have one of your own, Patchogue-Medford Library patrons can borrow MP3 players with requested titles downloaded on them.
