All reservations can be made up to three months in advance. Passes are not guaranteed for the date of your reservation. Unfortunately, if the person who checked out the pass before you hasn't returned it, there will be a slight delay, as we have to order and receive a replacement pass. Please call us the day of your adventure to be absolutely sure that we have your pass.

How long may I keep the Museum Adventure Pass?
Passes may only be picked up on the day before your reservation, after 5:00 pm on Monday through Saturday, after 3:00 on Sunday, at the Reference desk. The pass must be returned to the Library by 11:00 am on Monday Through Saturday, before 2:00 on Sunday, the day the pass is due to the Reference desk. If the Library is closed on the due date, the pass will be due by closing the next day the Library is open. This date will be indicated on the date due slip given to you at checkout.
What if I return the Museum Adventure Pass late?
A $50 fee will be charged to your Library card if the pass is returned late.
What if I lose the Museum Adventure Pass?
A replacement fee of $150 will be charged to your Library card.
How many Museum Adventure Passes may I check out?
Each Patchogue-Medford Library cardholder 18 years of age and older may check out one Museum Adventure pass in a 2 month period. Multiple reservations within that period will result in the Library deleting your additional reservations at our discretion. Your card must be in good standing.
How many people does each admit?
Each participating museum sets its own limits regarding admittance with the pass. Please contact the Library, (631)654-4700 ext. 220 or 221 for more information.
May I use the Museum Adventure Pass More than once?
Yes, you may, as long as the pass is returned by the due date.
Where do I pick up my Museum Adventure Pass?
Go to the Reference Desk to begin your Museum Adventure. Please pick up the pass at the Reference Desk no earlier than 5:00 pm the day prior to use. Exceptions are made October through May on Sunday when our hours are 1-5 and Saturday's, all year, when our hours are 9:30-5:30. On those days you may pick up your pass after 3:00.
On July 25th, August 8th and August 22nd, the library will be closing at 5:00. Please pick up your pass after 3:00.
Where do I return my Museum Adventure Pass?
Passes may be returned in person to the Reference Desk in its original folder. Under no circumstances should Museum Passes be left on a counter or deposited in a book drop.
Please return pass to the Library the day after use by 11:00 am. Other patrons may be waiting to use it. Thank you.
