Cell Phone Use Policy

Many people come to the Library to find a quiet place to read and to study. Please respect others’ needs for quiet and observe these guidelines for cell phone use in the Library.

1. Please turn the cell phone ringer off or to vibrate upon entering the building.

2. Cell phone use is acceptable in:

·         Main and Side entrance ways (between glass doors)

·         Main floor video browsing area

·         Lower lobby

3. Cell phone use is prohibited in all other areas.

4. Please use a low voice when using a cell phone in the acceptable areas.

5. The Library reserves the right to ask patrons to leave the building if they are using cell phones in areas other than those listed above or if they are disturbing others in any area of the Library.
